Fall Challenge Registration Now Open

Registration for the Peninsula Century Fall Challenge bicycle ride is now open!

The 3rd annual ride will end at Sister Bay’s Waterfront Park Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015. The post-ride party will feature local chefs, beer from the Door County Brewing Co., and music on the shore of Sister Bay.

The picturesque ride through Northern Door County highlights routes on the northern tip of the county that take riders past scenic shoreline while taking on challenging climbs in the century distance. Riders of all abilities can choose from routes of 25, 50, 62, and 100 miles.

Riders can save $15 off onsite registration by taking advantage of early bird pricing through June 30!

In just two years the Fall Challenge has grown to nearly 600 riders who rave about the unrivaled post-ride buffet, beautiful course, and fantastic venue.

Riders will feast on food from local restaurants, including homemade ice cream from the Door County Ice Cream Factory.

The Peninsula Century Fall Challenge is organized by the Peninsula Pacers, the same organization behind the tremendously successful Door County Half Marathon, the Peninsula Century Spring Classic and the Door County Beer Festival.

“We’re proud to highlight our local businesses and sponsors,” says organizer Brian Fitzgerald. “We’re also excited to showcase Sister Bay’s jewel of a park, which allows our riders to enjoy the festivities before patronizing the village shops and restaurants.”

Family members can enjoy the beach, playgrounds, volleyball courts and water sports at the park, which is just steps from the Sister Bay Marina, village lodging, shopping, restaurants and bars.
