Dannenbring, Adelman Conquer Hills in Fall Challenge Ride

The 2015 Peninsula Century Fall Challenge is in the books, and a new King of the Hill and Queen of the Hill have been crowned.

Sam Dannenbring of Sturgeon Bay powered his way through the wind and up our three climbs to win the Door County Brewing Co. Polka King of the Hills jersey. On the women’s side, Tanya Adelman of Minnesota ripped through the gusts to win handily.

Each winner will receive a Polka King of the Hills jersey and free entry into next year’s ride. Congrats!

Thank you to the nearly 400 riders who braved the wind for what turned into a glorious afternoon at Waterfront Park in Sister Bay.

Thanks as well to Chris Hecht, Going Garbage, Al Johnson’s, Grasse’s Grill, Husby’s, Sister Bay Bowl, Jay Kita and the Piggly Wiggly, Markey Springs, Door County Ice Cream Factory, Tapuat Kombucha, and of course the Door County Brewing Co. and Flanigan Distributing.

Special thanks to Fred & Fuzzy’s for not only providing a ton of brats and burgers, but for letting us use their huge grill once again!
